Both courtesy of Google Map. Top photo, street level was taken in 2013. Aerial view. You can see they added the extension in the front side. The building toward the middle right, it was built in 1978 so likely that was when the rink closed and that part was sold. It was likely a parking lot for the rink.

Originally Carousel Rink began in 1967 that was in Agawam, Massachusetts. This rink as you can see in the picture was the same building but not exactly how it was. The frontage was changed toward the back. They switched it for that new owner after the rink closed. It was just one Bow Arch building with the front facing on SOUTH Ramah Circle. But you are seeing now the front is facing NORTH Ramah Circle. Trees grew in between the building and the South Ramah Circle.
But the importance in this story is that the Richard J. "Lucky" and his wife Raffaela Barile operated by opening in 1967 as Carousel Rink.
But it was short time owned the rink and it was sold to Louise Pistorio and Joseph Pistorio Sr. and they operated the rink as Agawam Arena in around 1971 or 1972.
But we do not have date of closure.
Eventually, it became a industrial machine warehouse storing large industrial machinery.
On October 8, 2018, part of the roof collapsed and it was so loud that a worker heard next door and quickly called for emergency crew to come. No one was present in the building as the business workers have left at 3 pm. Praise God that it happened AFTER 3 pm.
They repaired immediately as I can see the 2019 photo on Google Map. Nice job repairing but they did not paint to match the rest of the building in Tan color.
The walking score is 57 which is somewhat walkable. Not too bad for children to walk over to the rink and the neighborhood is pretty much industrial/business.
More photos would be appreciated for this awesome site especially interior and exterior. Of course, interior without people if that is possible. Or at least less people in background to show more of the interior. Also exact dates would be appreciated. Thank you!
The rink floor is unknown.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
The building mainly had Bow Arched-Curved building that centered the whole complex. The front and ear end were flat roof. Usually only Front they would do that but this one was both end. The warehouse company likely added the low pitch Gable building in the front that is now the rear. Likely the main parking lot was the 36 North Ramah Circle because that building was built in 1978. Its possible that the rink closed around 1978 because of the building 36 North Ramah Circle location according to Loop Net.
