Courtesy of Billboard Magazine, October 16, 1948 issue. Rink for sale. Only lasted 4 months.
A roller rink B-Pikes Peak A 1631 Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, CO
This unnamed rink was, supposely, at 1631 Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, CO but it is a residental area. Please do not bother the neighborhood or residents of that address. It is a house now. It might have beena roller rink or a mobile tent rink owner who lived there at the time.
It was found in Billboard Magazine dated October 16, 1948. It said it was for sale. Must be in one theory of mine that this could have been the one and the same Pikes Peak Skateland that was on 109 North Cascade. If that is true, then this profile WILL merge. But for now, there is no proof because of the name of this man and the address. No proof yet.
But the ad did explain a bit of the rink. The size of the rink and likely Maple wood for sure.
The business did not last. It was only FOUR months old! One of shortest.
The Interior.
The Exterior.
The Stats:
Rink Size: N/A Floor: N/A Floor Layout: N/A
Building Size: 40' x 104' Built: N/A Demolished: N/A
Type of Building: Free Span Steel Warehouse Building.

Wanted: Information regarding this rink! Where was this exactly actually. Was it the Cascade Pikes Peak Skateland or different one because of the address showed residential area. Specific address needed, photos, more information on this rink is much needed.
