Credit: Google Map of Star Lite Skating Center building now occupied by automobile dealership cross street from the rink.
Bottom 9 photos courtesy of The Space Coastal Daily Newspapers. Bottom five are the rink interior today. From bottom up- big area of the rink, game room, main entrance, snack bar area and skate rental area. Rest were when the rink was open for business in hey days.
Bottom two courtesy of Loopnet. The newly updated ad on Loopnet recently has shown better interior pictures of the former rink. It is totally removed such as murals, etc. Even the concrete floor. Water spots showed leaky roof. Maybe it can be revived as a rink again with new roof, new floor, and then new everything else. Quite a budget that no owner will want to invest in a roller rink. The place is up for sale in 2019 for USD 1.5 Million! You would need to add another half million to fix up the place including roof, floor, paints, snack bar equipment, etc. Truly sad.

The rink under Star Lite Skate Center was in its final life of its own trilogy. Before that, it was Colorz Skate Center and the Island Skate Center before it became Star Lite in the 2000s. The rink went through series of rebooting.
It was in a Gable roofed building with parking lot surrounding the blue and white building facing a modern automobile dealership where all the cars from the dealer now sits upon.
It was simple design on the outside with blue triangle on upper part of the building with all white around it. There is the main door to enter on a side.
The interior had concrete floor poured in and painted and oiled. It had that 1960s/70s carpet upon the rails and walls. It was in several hues of red colors. From black-red to standard red. Really pops open your eyes with that view. I do not have any good photographs of the interior because they were all in dark, grainy, and that old dark toned Kodak and Fuji films pictures. Not so well. But it appeared to be somewhat large inside by the looks of converted to storage by that automobile dealership from cross the street.
The place before it became the rink, it was General Merchandise, a club members only type of store that you can buy just about anything. Kind of like cross between BJ's/Costco and Service Merchandise. There are conflicting report that people said it was a teen club and even a Woodstock musician alumni Jimi Hendrix played there. There are still conflicting report.
Never mind them. The rink became Colorz then on February 10, 1995, it became Island Skate Center then the final life it became was Star Lite. Too bad it did not have five more lives to go like a cat has nine lives.
