7 Ply Skate Park 5845 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK
This skate park, not roller rink, was on 5845 South Garnett Road in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They first opened on July 1, 2003 and closed some time later since I do not have a closing date for good. Currently seeing a few businesses that are housed in the same building. A multi-business warehouse/garage.
7 Ply Skate Park had many different courses for skaters and cyclists to use including a Bank/wedge, a Ramp Extension, a Funbox, a Half Pipe, a Kicker/launch, a Grind Box/ledge, and a Quarter Pipe. All that indoors.
Their website is down, Realty Trac has no information, no one has them except for an article. Thanks to Google Map, the name disappeared when Google began mapping on the road and the big signage said nothing about the name of the skate park in 2007. Apparently it was short lived.
The owner was Jeremy Babbitt.
The Interior.
Since this was a skate park, there were a few different courses in the park including a Bank/wedge, a Ramp Extension, a Funbox, a Half Pipe, a Kicker/launch, a Grind Box/ledge, and a Quarter Pipe. Pretty much wood is the norm material for most of the different courses.
The Exterior.
It appeared to be at the time singular business venue in that building but right now, several businesses occupy the former skate park building. All split up. Some of it have their own garage doors.
It is Tan color now.
